LifeEar
LifeEar is an over the counter personal sound amplifier designed by an audiologist. It was developed to help those struggling with minimal hearing loss, without the exorbitant cost of a traditional hearing aid.
LifeEar recognized a need to develop a strong brand in light of a law change that allowed personal sound amplifiers to be sold over the counter. We developed a brand strategy that focused on ways that this device enhances the lives of its customers. This included the tagline “Amplify your life,” and a fresh, modern visual identity aimed at middle aged consumers not yet ready for hearing aids. We also designed packaging similar in nature to tech wearables that included an easy-to-use manual and focused on the entire unboxing experience.
In 2018 LifeEar was acquired by a larger, UK-based personal sound amplifier company, due largely to the strength of the LifeEar brand.
